Approximately 150 businesses on Swan Island build, repair, move, create, design, sell, distribute, transport, print, train, and provide services to local businesses. From selling flowers to building trucks, from distributing beer to sewing stage curtains, from cooking food to moving goods and packages, these companies and their employees make Swan Island buzz with energy and productivity.
Some businesses located here more than a half century ago and others opened up last year. They’re attracted to the easy access on and off the Island, to the close proximity to major highways and neighborhood arterials and to being located on the Willamette River.
As the U.S. and global economies head out of the recent downturn,
businesses on Swan Island are expanding their capacity, developing their property, and hiring.
